Why you never wait here

In 2002 I had one of those Saturdays. At one point I counted seventeen customers queued, and when it all kicked off about who was next, I knew something had to be done.

Salvatore, on starting the booking system. "Weekdays were fuller and Saturdays were calmer. I wish I'd done it from the beginning."

The barber

"I started barbering by accident."

He wanted to be a graphic designer or an architect. Then at 15 his cousin found him a Saturday job at Aldo's on Two Mile Hill. Within a year he was cutting hair, and by 1988 he was taking 1st place in men's grooming at the South-West NHF competition.

After running a shop in Stoke Bishop he bought No. 125 and opened in April 1994. "I have always believed in using the highest quality tools available to me together with the best hair products to provide the best service possible."
